亚太区战略采购高级经理/Senior Strategic Purchasing Manager

Key Accountabilities

1. Lead the equipment supply market research in Asia in which the supplier(s) operate(s) to apply industry best practices on an ongoing basis: business trends, market conditions, supplier cost structure and benchmarks.
2. Develop and execute the equipment sourcing strategy in Asia and ensure the Asia strategy is in line with the global equipment procurement strategy to achieve the saving target.
3. Manage all equipment sourcing activities (supplier sourcing, qualification, selection, negotiation, pricing, contracting, period evaluation/audit, claim coordination) in Asia.
4. Develop and maintain supplier relationships at strategic level and manage the continuous improvement in terms of cost, delivery, quality and responsiveness in order to meet the expectations/requirements of assembly operations.
5. Assess and mitigate supply risk for equipment and lead Supplier Evaluation: monitor supplier SLAs and ensure efficient support for operations from suppliers and continuous reliability.
6. Support the transformation of the SIG Sourcing and Procurement organisation to ensure key programme milestones are met and benefits are realised and captured.
7. Support the implementation of a range of effective Procurement tools and techniques.
8. Manage claims according to the SIG Procurement Process Framework.
9. Compile, analyze, and provide consolidated reporting for procurement metrics for Asia equipment sourcing.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor degree or equivalent in Engineering/Science, preferably with an MBA degree in Purchasing/Supply Chain management
2. At least 8-10 years of progressive purchasing and sourcing management experience, preferably in finished goods sourcing area for multinational consumer goods/consumer durable companies.
3. Exposure to other functional areas in Supply and project management will be an added advantage
4. Thorough understanding of supply chain management and all phases of the sourcing function, as well as current trends in procurement, including e-procurement.
5. Well-developed analytical abilities, commodity/market knowledge and excellent negotiating skills.
6. Experience in having managed and developed high calibre buyers within the team
