职位描述

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To research, plan and implement marketing campaigns in Mainland China in order to achieve sales retention, growth, and market awareness for all educational importing titles.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES/KEY RESULT AREAS

	Work with the Marketing Manager to plan suitable marketing campaigns and sales support materials.
	Implement marketing campaigns to support retention and sales growth.
	Work with Marketing Manager to estimate costs for campaigns and activities to feed into the annual budget. Monitor expenditure throughout year to ensure budgets are adhered to.
	Provide senior managers with necessary market intelligence and reporting in order to inform marketing and sales strategies.
	Support Sales and Marketing colleagues and attend exhibitions and conferences in order to promote and sell the OUP brand

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

·	Degree level education Previous marketing experience in education or the publishing field
·	A highly organised individual with the ability to prioritise a heavy workload Excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate and build rapport with colleagues around the business
·	Knowledge of the ELT and educational publishing market in Mainland China
·	A high level of literacy with strong copywriting skills
·	Strengths in analytics and critical thinking
·	Computer literacy including a good knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

KEY INTERFACES

Internal:	Marketing Manager, Product Analyst, Teacher Trainer, Sales & Marketing Coordinator, Sales managers and representatives, ELT editors, licensing managers and colleagues from other OUP offices.
External:	Principals, academic heads, English language teachers and parents of private language schools and local state schools, service providers, freelancers, translators, importers and distributors.
