POSITION SUMMARY :

Evaluate products in accordance with specifications. Uses prescribed quality control procedures. Detects faults and recommends methods of improvement of product quality.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. To inspect the quality of products and make sure it complies with the order requirements.

2. To ensure all the details/information required in the inspection package is complied.

3. Collect information on production status for orders responsible and relate to merchants timely.

4. Alert merchants on potential production problem and shipment delay.

5. Alert and recommend corrective action on areas not in compliance with Gap standard or factory compliance policies.

6. Ensure the products safety is able to conform requirements.

7. Audit the accuracy of seconds confirmation presented in the seconds tracking report for the factories responsible.

8. For seconds in factories not purchased by Gap Outlet, conduct an audit to ensure that labels are being cut.

Required Knowledge, skills and abilities:

Minimum educational level : Technical Institute

Experience required : 5 years of relevant experience
