POSITION SUMMARIES
This position will responsible for the continuous improvement activities in plants sale, market and customer service, coordinate Lean sigma projects for BMAP operation and business function. He /she will also lead , coach and support or organize all these activities for all practitioners across function. This position will provide assistance and be a resource to functional departments and the business units in identifying, planning and implementing Lean sigma projects.
Key Accountabilities
Steadfast leadership surrounding Owens Corning safety stand; commitment to lead with unwavering expectation of safe working conditions and practices; lead with vision of zero injuries.
Build, lead and execute our overall business continuous improvement strategy. Lead waste-free stand and Lean efforts.
Lead the strategy to drive culture change in order to attain operational excellence through:
Lead with a vision of zero defects
Waste elimination resulting in cost savings and productivity gains.
Variation reduction.
Development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
Act as portfolio manager for coordination of all Lean, Six Sigma and related initiatives/projects.
Employment of 5s methodologies.
Develop and deploy effective measurement programs.
Leverage best practices.
Build cross-functional partnerships in order to bring alignment to and commitment for change initiatives.
