Role Purpose
Under the matrix reporting system to both company HQ and China, the person should process thorough understanding of international merchandising guidelines and also a indepth knowledge of general China retailing architectural set up. He should best apply the international guidelines into special China context in all showrooms and corporate stores and thoroughly explain the whole project design to company HQ and China so as to best present Longines image in accord with international image at the most efficient manner in terms of time, feasibility, monetary and labour investments.
Key Accountabilities
1. Feasibility by means of local resources
Ø In compliance with the guidelines of HQ, the person should make possible the adaptation of such rules in local context.
Ø He should take serious attention to cost issues and make possible the presentation of HQ concept at not higher than 30% of the current cost.
2. Feasibility at local context
Ø Consolidation of local retail architectural condition, the person should best merge HQ concept into such criteria and be able to explain clearly the necessity and limitation of China conditions.
Ø In light of the HQ guidelines, he should be able to develop a set of China special requests in adopting HQ concepts within 6 months after on board in the position.
Ø He should also gain approval from HQ and local China office of such special conditions in China within 8 months after on board.

3.Tactful adaptation of China rules in individual projects
Ø Follow closely with every showroom and corporate store project, the person should tactfully adapt the China rules in each project.
Ø He should be able to explain each project clearly to both HQ, China office and retailer and gain design approval within one month so that the project could go on actual production.

4.Report, Analysis & Evaluation
Ø The person should compile report of finished projects, make clear analysis of concept presentation, evaluate the pros and cons of concept actualizatioin and also propose future means of improvements.

Ø Architectural and interior design
Necessary Knowledge and Experience to be able to do the job
Ø About 7 years in related field
Ø ?Solid experience in international branding
Ø ?Solid connections with suppliers
Education and Certification Requirements
Ø University degree in architect and interior design
Job Specific Technical Requirements
Ø Be conversant with architectural and interior design software
Ø Be conversant with trends in international retailing set up
