ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following (other duties may be assigned):
? Interface with the global commodity team and different functions in China and other regions.
? Understand Operating Companies' Technical Functional Specification on different products
? Fulfill the role of subject matter expert in Asia/China when suppliers have questions on Company's drawings and requirements.
? Take initiatives to contact the right technical experts in the US and Europe to seek their support when needed
? Be able to make technical judgment on suppliers' qualification and capacity
? Coordinate technical workshops and reviews with Company and selected suppliers
? Monitor project progress from the beginning to the end from the technical perspective, escalate when needed
? Be able to make simple changes to the drawings using the 2-D or 3D design software
Education
? Bachelor Degree or above, technical background required
? Experience
? At least 7 years of experience in technical sourcing and transfer projects
? Language skills
? Good command in English
? Computer skills
? Solid skills in Microsoft office tool, and design software such as Pro-E, Auto-Cad, Uni-graphic, and Solidworks etc.
