The Position:

· The primary responsibility of the Business Consultant is to assist the Sales Reps to win valuable server deals and enterprise product deals.

· The Business Consultant will be working mainly at executive level in terms of solution proposal and prospects communications.

· The Business Consultant will work closely with Sales Reps, Professional Service Consultant, and Sales Engineers.

· The Business Consultant has direct impact on the success of a sales campaign and product delivery.

Main Purpose of the role:

· The Business Consultant will be the key person in the team to ensure genuine customer needs are being identified, appropriate solutions proposed and correct methodologies applied, which add business expertise value into sales process and user practice, ensures sales win and customer success.

· The Business Consultant will be responsible for vertical solution architect.

· The solution architected by a Business Consultant for certain prospect or vertical will be the blue print that Professional Services will implement.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

· Address business needs by interviewing key stakeholders of certain prospect.

· Identify business issues by conducting process workshop.

· Develop strategic solution proposal based on SDL solutions and industry business expertise.

· Build and perform proof-of-concept product demonstration according to proposed business solutions.

· Provide support on developing Sales proposals, business case analysis/ROI, and responding to RFP/RFI.

· Participate in the direct sales cycle (executive relationship development, negotiations, closing)

· Take the leadership to develop vertical solutions based on SDL Language Technologies.

Skill and Knowledge Required:

· Bachelors or Masters Degrees in Computer Science, Information Technology or Business Administration.

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience as Business Consultant position in localization industry.

· Experienced in using SDL language technologies like SDL Trados, Passolo and WorldServer.

· Excellent interpersonal, and presentation skills.

· Excellent problem solving, analytical skills, combined with creative thinking.

· Strong Mandarin written and verbal communication skills, good English written and spoken skills.

· High energy level, ability to prioritize tasks while retaining responsibility for delivery.

· 30%-40% travel is required.

Desirable but not essential experience and knowledge:

· Experienced in pre-sales support and solutions delivery.

· Experienced in Content Management, Business Process Management applications.

· International company working experience
