Job Title: Multimedia Framework Software Engineer

Responsibilities

The position is for software engineer of the embedded multimedia framework development at Marvell Shanghai Site. Marvell is developing high performance media processors which provide compelling solution for the applications like Google TV, Android TV, IPTV, HD Set Top Box, and so on. He/she will join the company's effort to provide excellent multimedia framework software solution, including porting new framework, developing new features, optimizing performance and fixing bugs.

Qualifications

Required:

-- BS or MS in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science major or with relevant experience.

-- Rich experience in multimedia framework in OpenMax, FFMPEG or Gstreamer.

-- Strong programming and debugging skills in C++ and C.

-- Familiar with multimedia container specification like mp4, avi, and webm, or network streaming technology like VOD, HLS, Smooth Stream and so on.

-- Experience in software development in Android

Plus:

-- Familiar with common video or audio codec.

-- Familiar with network protocol

-- Experience with Linux driver development, familiar with Linux kernel

-- Experience in flash player porting, DLNA or Bluetooth audio input/output

-- Familiar with Java development in Android
