Job Position: Logistic Coordinator (LOG)
Job location: Nansha Yard, Guangzhou

Over View:
The Logistic Coordinator scope is to set-up and coordinate all project logistics activities (material collection, shipment, follow-up, export and import clearances and delivery to final destination), to reduce all transport/clearance related time and associated costs, by systemization and control of the transport policy (consolidation, frame agreement negotiation with shipping companies..'). This is a departmental position which can be plugged onto all projects.

Responsibilities:
A. To implement logistics (transport, consolidation, storage.) strategies on all projects, and the activities requiring same;
B. To ensure short and safe transit, to optimize importation time (paperwork accuracy, clearing agent control, transport anticipation);
C. To understand and efficiently follow local customs and maritime regulations in every country of shipment (construction and operation sites);
D. To negotiate transport costs, evaluate and find best transport options (chartering or part chartering vessels), to ensure project logistics cost control;

Requirements:

F. Goad transport market overview and good knowledge of contract, tax, lncoterms and logistics issues;
G. Fluent in English, other languages appreciated: Portuguese, Spanish and Italian.
