The Project Sourcing Engineer is part of the team member of the Global Project Sourcing, responsible for the parts in new projects including NPI project and RFQ Project, supporting the project team to identify the best cost & supplier in new projects and tracking the parts & suppliers until the project transfer to LCM. These activities include but not limit to supplier RFQ and negation, cost down solution identify, critical risk part assessment, DFM coordination, sample build and follow up, new tooling & payment management. He /She is also responsible for maintaining the necessary required data via the internal system.

Responsibilities:
1. New project new parts RFQ.
2. New part CBD Analysis, cost benchmark and cost comparison analysis in new project..
3. New part negotiation with suppliers for final cost in new project.
4. New part supplier and cost selection align with Commodity manager based on strategy, conduct supplier nomination in new projects.
5. Carryover parts price & supplier selection confirm in new project, including capacity and tooling confirm with suppliers.
6. Finish the critical part risk assessment, via work with D&D, SQE, and suppliers.
7. Coordinate DFMA Activities in new project.
8. Coordinate new technical concept and VAVE solution in new project.
9. Sample build (including mockup/prototype) order release & schedule follow.
10. New project tooling order & payment management.
11. ECR/ECN process follow up for new project.
12. Create new Part master data in SAP (IR information: leadtime, MOQ, fixed vendor, quota share, etc).

Required:
1.Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing/mechanical engineering / commercial or other related fields.
2.At least 6 years and above experience preferably focused on a manufacturing environment, preferably in home appliance industry.
3.Good understanding of TCO and Cost Breakdown Concept, procurement tools and manufacturing processes, esp. experience in Electro-mechanical parts.
4.Able to think strategically and work independently, problem solving skill.
5.Good and steadfast in negotiation.
6.Good written and verbal communication skill both in English and Chinese. Be able to converse and relate to key stakeholders.
