Task in China / APAC
1. Steering the defined process of pre-sales qualification.
2. Identifying and working on valid opportunities in terms of budget & minimum order quantity.
3. C-Matrix markets and application alignment.
4. Pro-active in extending key markets/applications accordingly.
5. Aligning with PIC Operations capacity (Short Term Business Development).
6. Aligning with PIC Market Strategies (Long Term Business Development).
7. Supporting APAC subsidiaries in terms of market and customer penetration (intra-synergy).
8. Synergizing within APAC sales and with Worldwide sales for global account penetration.
9. Monitoring and reporting of the Piezo technology competitor landscape.
10. Identifying industrial clusters related to Piezo Technology (technology / markets / networking).
11. Defining the annual APAC trade show, conferences and industry event program and attend where suitable.
12. Closely work with the TSEs at PIC.
13. (later) closely work with the Changzhou factory (with local ultrasonic design competence) on opportunities for locally assembled ultrasonic transducer sub-systems.

Experiences/Requirements:
1. BS, MEng or MS degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical or Physics is required. Preferably in Physics, Material Science, Mechatronics. Ideally in Ultrasonics Engineering (from one of the relevant schools / companies in China).
2. Three to Five years of Technical Sales and/or BDM experiences, preferably for an Ultrasonic company.
3. Exceptional learning attempt and curious nature, to learn on our product lines and offerings.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and English.
5. Pro-active and independently working person with structured approach and high reliability as well as a team player.
6. Experience with electrical components & sensors / ceramic component sales. Preferably piezo product experiences. Ideally Ultrasonic and/or acoustic transducer experiences, medical sensors, NDT, piezo actuator technology…
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with a CRM (e.g. MS Dynamics) administering sales data for reporting purposes.
8. Understanding of piezo technology for industrial and medical markets, Ultrasonic in general, NDT. Ideally transducer design and acoustic competence.
9. The ability and willingness to travel up to 50%, both domestic and international.
