Senior Buyer / Team Leader

General Purpose:
Responsible assist the Purchasing Management in the organization, planning and management of the purchasing department in order to reach and maintain purchasing objectives, develop purchasing policy and procedures and to lead and mentor the team with regard to all purchasing activities to ensure value is achieved for monies expended, providing maximum value to the business.

Job Description:
1. Timely issuance of POs to Vendors & co-ordination for payment
2. Placing the purchase order and follow up the same
3. Coordinating with vendors for actual delivery status of material
4. On time completion of Open PO Report and Shortage Report
5. To meet or exceed desired service levels and inventory targets as defined for the products assigned
6. To efficiently and accurately execute core procurement processes for assigned products
7. Coordinate with Internal Business Partner (requestor) and Supplier for Purchase Order Changes.
8. Experienced of E-Tools such as Smart Buy, e RFQ
9. Sourcing and Developing suppliers for new projects
10. Managing supplier's database
11. To identify, recommend, and implement operational efficiencies to drive continuous improvement in the execution of procurement processes
12. Perform root cause analysis to expedite the resolution of service issues.
13. Prepare Customized reports for analyzing and incorporating improvements in processes.

Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree and above.
2. Excellent oral and written skills with proficiency in English.
3. Min 5 years experience in the following domains:
Order processing, Supply chain management, Order management, Procurement
4. Experience in Manufacturing industry preferably in electronics
5. Excel, PowerPoint and other MS office advanced skills
6. Knowledge of ERP (Preferably BAAN)
7. Some exposure to voice process will be highly preferred
8. Excellent communication skills MANDATORY
9. Good analytical skills
