Responsibilities

• This is a regional role to closely engage with external stakeholders including but not limited to government and industry associations in the China region, to formulate an engagement plan;Work with key stakeholders from Operations to formulate an outreach plan on factory-related public affairs in China;
• Act as key liaison with Mattel's subject matter experts as well as outside consultants, to better address specialized issues including but not limited to quality/safety, labor, customs, sustainability and philanthropy;
• Partner with Mattel manufacturing plants and OEM vendors to ensure proactive compliance with Mattel's GMP/ICTI standards;
• Conduct immediate research and follow up of GMP/ICTI issues to ensure containment and accurate fact finding.

Requirements

• University graduated with Bachelor degree;
• A minimum of 8-year experience in Corporate Responsibility or Government Affairs/relations in manufacturing,professional services firms,or multinational corporations;including at least 3 years of managerial experience;
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skill;
• Knowledgeable in GMP/ICTI requirements;
• Poses experience in manufacturing or consumer goods industry
• Effective verbal and written communication in both English and Chinese;
• Skillful in formulating strategies, tactics and action plans to achieve results;
• Require frequent travel within China/HK region
