As a Specialist Buyer at Bowers & Wilkins you will be responsible for supporting the Supply Chain Management Team with respect to management activities and strategies, order placement for materials and services, materials scheduling and planning. You will ensure compliance to strategic SCM processes and procedures to optimize and leverage spend efficiencies and maintain security of supply to manufacturing operations through efficient inventory management and maintenance.

This position will be responsible for supporting the management of Strategic Commodity Categories and related Supplier Relationships, Order placement and administration linked to materials scheduling and efficient inventory management is a critical success factor for this role. You will help to meet Procurement Performance Goals and optimize performance by assisting in collaboration with internal and external partners, proactively supporting Business Process Improvement activities.

Other responsibilities include compliance to company policies and regulations as well as departmental procedures.

1. Order placement and tracking of delivery of materials and services
2. Management and maintenance of inventory levels to support manufacturing operations, minimizing inventory costs to meet factory target
3. Proactively participate in and assist in continuous business process improvement activities internally and externally
4. Proactively support Supplier Development activities where and when required.
5. Maintain and administer Supplier Management Systems and processes; (Supplier Scorecards & KPI, QBR, Supplier Plan of Record (SPOR) Supplier Audits and SCAR/supplier corrective action report process)
6. Experience on work at SCM or Procurement can be advantage
7. Support administration activities linked to NPI and ODM Management like as PV sample and risk buy PO issuing
8. Support the maintenance and management of Strategic Commodity Roadmaps based on business needs and Global Commodity Supplier Landscapes
9. Other tasks assigned by superior/manager

Qualifications and Requirements
1. Experience of working within a Global Procurement infrastructure
2. Strong MS Office expertise in particular Excel
3. Strong interpersonal skills and a composite team player
4. Good English especially in speaking and writing
5. Good knowledge for MRP/ERP system process (Have good SAP skills)
6. Strategic and innovative thinking.
7. Experience on work at SCM or Procurement can be advantage
8. Good negotiation and communication skills, Strong skills for problem analysis and solving
