The Opportunity

B5M is looking to bring in passionate new Senior Director of Strategy to help catapult the company into becoming one of the top four mostrecognizable sites in China. The Senior Director of Strategy will reportto VP of Strategy and work with VP of Strategy and CEO on the following duties:

1. Use deep insight into the Chinese E-Commerce environment and overall business trends to identify high potential growth opportunities for B5M

2. Continuously evaluate new strategic opportunities and translate this into actionable tactical plans for various departments. Use market analysis, info on competition, business development and sales relationships to determine potential opportunities and threats to our revenue model

3. Utilize top notch analytical skills to assist Senior leadership on various strategic projects

4. Contribute to develop business plans to launch new verticals and features

5. Work together with VP of Strategy to determine optimal resource allocation within organization， Optimal short & long term revenue model

6. Support Senior Leadership in communication of the strategy.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have the perfect combination of strategic thinking and crisp execution. This candidate must be intellectually curious,enjoy thinking about business model innovation, and have the tenacity to manage projects with many moving pieces and multiple parties involved.

Candidate will also has organizational and communication skills to make sure that various departments are on track with their near and long term milestones.

The candidate should embody B5M’s core values of accountability, ownership, entrepreneurial spirit and teamwork.

Qualifications
-MBA or 6+ years of equivalent work experience in strategy, marketingor product
-2+ years in a role of managing a team of 7 or more
-Prior work at an ecommerce startup or consumer facing internet startup
-Degree from a top undergraduate institution
-Fluency in Chinese and English
