The Company

Powered by cutting edgeweb and mobile technology, led by a proven management team, and backed by a successful Series A round, B5M is positioned to becomethe most comprehensive Chinese social shopping search engine with tens of millions of B2C products.

The Opportunity

B5M is looking to bring in a passionate new Director of Business Development to help catapult the company into becoming one of the top four mostrecognizable sites in China. The Director of Business Development will report directly to the Senior VP of Business Development on the following priorities:

· Identify and build strategic alliances with business partners in the e-commerce or adjacent industries. Design innovative “win-win” partnership models that will help build the B5M brand, increase our user base, and expand our website reach

· Develop scalable new revenue and sales models

· Cultivate new sales channels. Assist the sales team in managing these relationships

· Manage partner relationships, liaise with key decision makers, and brainstorm on new areas of collaboration

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the perfect combination of strategic thinking and crisp execution. This candidate must be passionate about Ecommerce, enjoy thinking about ways to build productive alliances with prospective partners, and have the tenacity to follow through on projects with potentially long lead times.

Candidate will also have terrific leadership, organizational and communication skills to manage all these channels both internally and externally.

The candidate should embody B5M’s core values of entrepreneurial spirit, accountability, ownership and teamwork.

Qualifications

- 7+ years of experience in business development or sales in e-commerce, SNS or related segments in Internet industry

- 5 years experience on a managerial role

- Bachelors degree in Business or related field from a top academic institution. Master degree preferred.

- Fluency in Chinese and English
