*About the team*
The development team in Shenzhen is responsible for implementation the top notch design of our products for Marshall, Adidas and Urbanears.
*The role*
The primary responsibility for this role is to be the prolonged arm of the design team at site in Shenzhen, making sure that the manufactured products meet the design intentions and reach high perceived quality. This will be done in collaboration with the rest of the design team in Stockholm, the mechanical engineering team in Shenzhen and together with our ODMs and their sub suppliers. Target is to deliver a flawless product experience for the customers of our top brands.

Zound is now looking for a CMF designer to join our office in Shenzhen, China. We′re looking for a self-motivated person with a positive, flexible and pragmatic mindset. Roles & responsibilities
1. You should be the communication link between the ODM and the rest of the design team by: 作为为ODM和设计团队的沟通窗口：
- Keeping a tight relationship with suppliers and visit them on regular basis与供应商保存紧密的关系，常规拜访或出差供应商
- Monitor trials on site and support with inspections of the samples and advise how to improve them 现场跟踪试产、识别样品CMF缺陷并对提出改善建议
- Report back to the design team and forward and explain their feedback to the ODM 给设计师报告试产和样品状况，并将设计师的反馈转述和澄清给供应商
- Review and approve samples including color matches, surface treatments and parts for fit, feel and finish. 评审和确认样品的配色、表面工艺和部件的搭配效果
2. Drive the tuning of samples needed, for reaching a high perceived quality of the products by: 驱动所需样品的调试工作，以达到高精度高品质的产品：
- Inspection of samples in plastics, textile and metal查检塑料、布料和金属部件的表面缺陷
- Making grain verifications of injection moulding tools 检验注射模具表面纹理
- Ensuring optimisation of injection moulding parameters to achieve a high surface quality 确保注射参数的优化，以达到高质量的外观表面
- Tuning materials to achieve a tight colour matching 调试材料的配方，以到达严格的色差效果
- Making sure mechanical functionality and tolerances are at a top level 确保结构功能和偏差有高的水准
- Support the packaging team with colour approvals when needed 需要时，支持包装团队对颜色进行确认
Skills & experience 技巧与经验
- Bachelor's degree in industrial design, mechanical engineering or corresponding education is appreciated本科及以上学历，工业设计、机械工程或相关专业优先
- At least 3 years working experience with CMF or appearance approval 至少3年CMF或外观确认从业经验
- Knowledge in various types of materials and manufacturing methods is crucial必须了解多种材料的属性和制造工艺
- Experience in the process of injection moulding is important 有注塑模具成型的经验
- Experience in the process of graining injection moulding tools are beneficial 有注塑模具纹路制作的经验
- Experiences in consumer electronics industry, automotive industry and/or appearance approval will be a plus 有消费电子、汽车工业或外观确认经验为佳
- Self-driven and reliable; juggle a multitude of tasks some with very short notice. Non-prestigious and humble person who understands that running a fast-growing company. 自我驱动，值得信赖； 同时并行处理多项任务的能力；为人谦虚，适应高速成长企业环境
- Good knowledge needed of CAD programs (preferrable SolidWorks), Powerpoint, Photoshop, Illustrator and rendering programs (preferrable Keyshot).熟练使用CAD（SolidWorks更优）, Powerpoint, Photoshop, Illustractor 和渲染软件（Keyshot更优）。
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills; 书面及口头英语俱佳；
