We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Product for our Athleisure and Intimates division. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and production of these categories, ensuring exceptional product quality, market competitiveness, and driving innovation that resonates with our customers.
Responsibilities:
1. Stay updated on industry trends, conduct market research, analyze customer preferences, and identify potential product opportunities.
2. Translate market insights into actionable strategies to drive growth and maximize profitability.
3. Manage the end-to-end product development process from concept ideation to final production, ensuring timely delivery and meeting quality standards.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, merchandisers, suppliers, and manufacturers, to develop innovative products that align with brand values and meet customer needs.
5. Identify and establish relationships with reputable suppliers and manufacturers to ensure consistent product quality.
6. Monitor competitor activity within the athleisure and intimates sectors and identify areas for differentiation.
7. Conduct market analysis to identify trends, and potential gaps in the market.
8. Collaborate with suppliers to drive innovation, product improvements, and cost optimization initiatives.
9. Negotiate supplier contracts, terms, and pricing to achieve maximum value without compromising on quality.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, Business, or related field. A master's degree is a plus.
2. Over 10 years experience in fashion & apparel manufacturing industry, and particularly well-versed with intimates and activewear (shapewear, sports bra, yoga, etc.)
3. Technical expertise in sample development, manufacturing engineering, production upgrade, pattern-making, garment construction & bonding, etc.
4. Factory resources in Mainland China and Southeast Asia.
5. Demonstrated experience in launching successful product lines and driving innovation.
6. Exceptional project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks while managing multiple deadlines.
7. Knowledge of industry regulations, quality control standards, and manufacturing processes.
