Overview:
APAC R&D Product Development Engineer is assigned to support both NA new product development as well as APAC specific
new product development. They must be able to work effectively across multiple functions and collaborate with other divisions
to support product category team in the development of new products and implement to existing products.
This person needs to balance work on multiple projects and manage to deadlines.


Tasks & Responsibilities:
Handling Projects on new product development (sourced or internally manufactured), sustainability, cost reduction, quality improvement.
Coordinate with Design team in US and China office to create 2D/3D dwg and specification.
Assist Manager in negotiating all necessary commercial/technical/quality terms in RFQs
Follow a structured product development process and enforce the use of Gant charts (preferably MS Project)



Requirements:
B.S./M.S. Degree in Engineering/Science (Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials)
5+ years of Project Management and Product development experience Knowledge of plastic and metal design and processing
Proficient Pro Engineer CAD skills
Solid Works CAD Skills
Fluent English communication skills
Knowledge of plastic and metal design and processing
20%-50% both domestic and international travel required
