What you’ll do
1. Assure Quality and Reliability of new systems and products through DFSS methodology. ? Communicate and identify product specification with development team, ensure and track the CTQ flow down.
? Use DFSS methodology, tools and systems needed to reach Robustness and Quality targets.
? Lead and facilitate the DFMEA for risk recognizing and relate mitigation plan. Evaluate risks during the project through FMEA tool. Formulate a “GO-NOGO” opinion and propose corrective action plans.
? Execute QTP, coordinate the sample/lab resource and track the progress and completed plan.
? Plan & execute initiatives towards improvement of development process and industry standardization.
? Report the progress of projects (as decided- at MS, monthly etc.), issues etc to all the stakeholders.
? Support quality issues and technical deep dive topics/8D, and ensure needed improvements are included in design.
2. Lead R&D for the process improvement and competency build up
? Lead the process improvement by standardized related documents/files and enhancing the working efficiency and quality.
? Lead the process improvement which need to work with cross function team and drive the quality first.
? Lead the DFMEA deploy, provide training and ensure the DFMEA quality.
? Train and coach the team in application of Reliability and DFSS process and tools.
3. Lead innovation verification and risk control.
? Lead the deep diving of introduced innovation; brainstorm, analysis and evaluation risk; design the risk evaluation test; create the risk mitigation plan and verification plan.
? Lead the new technical dig in from the new supplier, from cross BG teams, from industry knowledge document (book, magazines).
? Coordinate with team for new test resource, new test lab even the new approbation authority.
What you’ll need
· Bachelor’s degree or above in Electric Engineering or comparable education background.
· Work Experience: Minimum 5years in related industry with at least 2 years in design or design quality.
· Required: "Quality" mindset.
· Preferable Green-Belt or Black-Belt certified. Reliability lifetime knowledge is Preferred.
· Strong analytical and leadership skills
· Language: Proficient in verbal and written communication in English (besides in Chinese)
