Job Summary:
Establish Responsible Sourcing metrics to align with business financial objectives and corporate citizenship initiatives that demonstrate clear return on investment + impact.
As Newell Responsible Sourcing program evolves, the team is transforming from “auditor” to “Improvement Facilitator” with the focus on supplier development in the areas of social, labor, human right, environmental, and sustainability performance in the global supply chain.
Vendor Resiliency – Evaluate vendor RS and SCS improvement opportunities with historical audit reports / onsite evaluation / online assessment
Vendor Enablement – Provide trainings / supports to vendors
Data Analyst – Draw data from system, analyze trend, provide supports to resiliency and enablement teams
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Data collection, clearing, integration, analysis, maintain high quality to ensure credible data for reporting
- Leverage data from multiple sources and consolidate to provide insights on supplier performance
- Develop smart and insightful dashboards and reports tracking performance to promote data-driven decision-making and optimize conversion
- Research industry benchmarks, best practices and historic trends to provide insights into the development of the program
- Support supplier enablement project implementation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Economics Computer Science or IT related is preferred
- 3+ years of experience in analytics/business intelligence
- Practical experience in data manipulation and visualization techniques, proficiency in Power BI
- Understanding of how to interpret data and build stories that influence action and drive result
- Familiar with labor laws and other legal regulations pertaining to social and sustainability
- Basic understanding on manufacturing processes & management best practices would be a plus
- Strong desire/willingness to learn and contribute to supplier enablement projects
- High level of integrity, team player
