Overview:

This role is to support Calphalon Supply Chain/Logistics operations for Asia suppliers. Act as a key contact window to manage both regular & Direct import order/shipment and sustain a proactive channel of communication. 

Execute related supply chain/Logistics projects. Handle all Supply Chain and Logistics operations.

Responsibilities:

? Execute Supply Chain/Logistics project:

• Lead our Forwarder(booking agent) change project implementation by working closely with US Supply Chain Team, Corporate Transportation Team, Forwarder project team & all Asian suppliers:
• Provide clear instruction to supplier.
• Partner with Forwarder to set up smooth process to ensure no operation disruption.
• Monitor progress and have regular communications with related parties.
• Other projects(Ovid, process improvement, etc)

? Handle all Supply Chain and Logistics operations:

• Provide ocean forecasting to Corporate Transportation Team bi-weekly.
• Track shipment status and analyze space gaps(demand VS space plan).
• Maximize the use of space as per space plan. Find all possible ways to ship out containers by extra loader, premium rate, alternative container size or alternative origin ports.
• Work with US Supply Chain Team to prioritize urgent shipment, provide quick instruction/solution to suppliers & Forwarder.
• Exception review & approval in Forwarder system.
• Act as a key contact window for business, fix any issue with suppliers & Forwarder.

? Manage Direct Import process:

• Set up proper process for any new Customer Direct Import, keep reviewing and improving existing process. Provide guidance/training to supplier on Direct Import order & shipment management process.
• Act as a key contact window for business, monitor Direct Import order whole process to ensure meet Customer’s delivery request and no sales missing.

? SAP system maintenance: PO update, ASN error monitoring, Inbound Delivery creation, etc.

? Other assignments(providing data visibility, reports, analysis, etc)

Requirements:

? University / Bachelor’s degree required

? 5 years of Supply chain function experience(PO management, logistics, etc.)

? Familiar with SAP or other system

? Good oral and written English, Teamwork and Collaboration
