- For our Industry Sector in BEIJING, we are looking for an EHS Specialist.

What are my responsibilities?

EHS management strategy

- according to legal and other requirements as well as company business development direction, develop EHS policy and strategy, make sure it's carried out in related departments and regions.

- Identify and collect SFAE applicable EHS related policy, regulatory and standards collection.

- In order to ensure the company consistently meet requirements of all national laws, regulatory and standards, collect and study related laws, standards in a systematical way, and improve SFAE EHS accordingly.

- Propose EHS OTP, collect performing status

- Prepare SFAE EHS OTP, support departments on OTP defining, collect performing status, issue monthly report.

- EHS Performance Monitoring & Improvement

- To monitor the EHS performance, supervise operation of SFAE EHS; to continuously improve the performance and effectiveness & efficiency of EHS.

- Facilitate top management on organizing management review to evaluation effectiveness & efficiency of EHS;

- Conduct internal audit to check if EHS be implemented well;

- Conduct monthly inspection to find risks and problems;

- Organize the safety training to all employees through classroom training, testing, case study, and rehearsal.

- To do the specific training and test to the employees who have special tasks

- Do the accident or/and potential accident's investigation, analysis, and submit solution to management, to avoid similar accident in the future.

- Support on the EHS related problem analysis and corrective/preventive actions determine, also verify its implementation and effectiveness.

- Special Equipment

- According to the state laws and regulations, to do the registration for special equipment and operators. To do the regular testing for the equipment, and qualification testing for the operators, to ensure the equipment are in good working condition and the operators have necessary qualification.

- Production Protecting Equipment (PPE)

- According to the state laws and regulations, and business demand, to select necessary PPE, approve the using application and supervise the delivering, to ensure the employees have safety working environment.

- Environmental Protection Awareness and knowledge Promotion

- To promote environmental protection awareness and enhance broad competence against environmental management in the company that make sure every employee have the willingness and competence to take environmental protection responsibility .

- Other job assigned by QM DM and SFAE management

What do I need to qualify for this job?

- Necessary:

1. 3 years experience in EHS fields, especially in electrical safety, fire protection, subcontractor EHS management, occupational health, hazardous solid waste, etc

2. Be familiar with state laws & regulations and related standards

3. Be with high sense of responsibility and the capability of rapid response.

4. Fluent English in writing and speaking

- Preference if applicable:

1. Have the internal auditor certificate of ISO14001 & OHS18001 and relevant audit experience

2. Have the certificate of national registered safety engineer

3. Majored in Safety Engineering, Environment Engineering in colleges,

What else do I need to know?

- Environmental management knowledge, Business and product related knowledge;

communication skill, network skill;

- Trainer skill; audit skill, project management skill
