Position Description:

NPD Leader

Job Description:

？ Work with sourcing team for RFQ package as supportive team;
？ Work with OEMs to make prototype samples;
？ Work with sourcing team to select factories;
？ Establish project schedule and ensure the deliverables happen on time;
？ Frequent travel to OEM factories to monitor the status of samples, tooling status, critical builds till first shipment;
？ Manage the project changes after first shipment;
？ Routine meetings with cross-functional teams (US team, CN team and factories) to report project status;
？ Managing project organisation and projects at our factory & US team.
？ Follow up and manage the established projects results.
？ Initiate and develop proposal/solution for potential business.
？ Co-operate closely with cross function team both USA and CN such as: marketing team, Quality team, Engineering, Procurement
？ Run the group of skilled engineers and NPD managers on supplier side, while at the same time be a communicator towards the groups other units i.e. US.
？ Have an understanding of solution creation based project business, as well as an ability to make things happen in a fast changing environment.
？ Have the basic ability to act as a local account to cost down at any opportunity.

Responsibilities:

？ Work with cross-functional teams to ensure products/projects delivered on scheduled time, cost and quality.

Position Requirements

? >8 years working experience.
? at Least 5 years project management experience.
? proven track record in project management
? Experience of matrix organisations
? insight into cost calculation principles and basic business figures
? Experience of plastic injection molding and tooling or Electronic & Electric.
? Project management software experience is preferred, e.g.: Smart sheet
