MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THIS POSITION

设立该职务的基本目的

Sustainability Project Engineer is to support sustainability manager to manage sustainability projects/initiatives, covering pillars of sustainability new initiatives’ feasibility study, environment responsibility, carbon neutrality, circular economy, CSR etc., for continuous sustainability improvement and delivery.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION

This position is to support, and assist fulfill the sustainability strategy and roadmap and the interface between internal stakeholders (different functions) and external vendors/ partners to plan, coordinate and track projects and deliver the expected results. Main responsibilities are to:

Sustainability Project Operation

- Coordinate with sustainability manager to design annually sustainability action plan and project execution plan, develop the new initiatives on sustainability

- Follow up the sustainability project of NGO partnership, enterprise cooperation and other sustainability internal collaborations

- To initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and control, communication facilitating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure sustainability project progress

- Develop and maintain project documentation such as schedules, issue trackers, status updates, and vendor deliverables

- Identify workstreams and milestones required from cross-functional team members and ensure they are appropriately prioritized

- Collaborate across teams to ensure proper prioritization of individual contributors with reasonable deadlines

- Vendor management and contract process management

Newsletter and sustainability best practice monitoring

- Develop the monthly sustainability newsletter

- Monitor the sustainability best practice in China Market and report weekly

- Collect and document the Laws Regulations related to sustainability

Innovation

- Develop sustainable activities and projects based on China's social hot spots, national policies and consumer perceptions, and coordinate vendors to design sustainable projects based on our needs

- Design carbon neutral projects according to carbon footprint reduction plan and different scenarios

- Design sustainable activities in line with different brands

Coordination and Solution Provider

To deeply involve in Supply Chain and business operation and understand short/mid/long term strategy, from where dig out sustainability project opportunities and drive solution

PRINCIPAL COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND BACKGROUND

该职务所需的主要技能及相关背景

·

• 3+ years sustainability or CSR consulting/ operation experience

· Bachelor or above in Business administration, sustainable operation, environmental studies, social responsibility, or carbon calculation related work experiences

· Strong interpersonal and communications skills

· Self-starter with ability to work independently and proactively under pressure

· English proficiency and French language would be a plus

· Proficient in Power Point, Excel
