THE ROLE

The candidate will be expert of the assembly process. He/she will be expected to formulate the process flow, take response for production yield and efficiency, take leading project(s) to improve the product cost, and will review and provide solution / suggestion per new product, handle fixtures & gauges design, coordinate with DVT and release process related documentation to mass production. Coordinate with automation machine supplier and define automation machine specification and install automation machine.


The candidate will work with R&D project team on process estimation and process documentation formulation. He / She will review and provide solution / suggestion per new product design, coordinate with DVT and release process related documentation to mass production.


RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Do new product design manufacturing process estimation
2. Complete new product design manufacturing process flow chart
3. Review new product design manufacturing BOM
4. Complete new product design internal assembly WI (Working Instruction)
5. Do yield & efficiency estimation and improvement through DVT
6. Do WI (Working Instruction) standardization for soft file – screen solution
7. Do training to operator for DVT
8. Tracking trial run and update accordingly to the Project Manager


REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor’s (or above) degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or equal， it’s top advantaged who is familiar with mechanical drive.
2. 8+ years’ experience of PIE work experience
3. Experience of department procedure / standardization project
4. Good experience on automation machine installation
5. Good experience on assembly fixture design and gauge design
6. Excellent knowledge of FPY / FY
7. Excellent knowledge of Cycle Time / Allowance Rate / UPH / Bottleneck / Line Balance/ OEE / TEEP
8. Excellent knowledge of Lean principles (Lean Six Sigma green belt/black belt preferred).
9. Excellent trouble shooting and solution providing capability
10. Good process flow chart structure knowledge (including outsourced process estimation)
11. Good knowledge of production flow / layout design
12. Good knowledge of PFEMA
13. Good knowledge of IM (Intelligent Manufacturing)
14. Experience with Solidworks / PDM / ERP is a plus
15. Native Mandarin and excellent written and excellent verbal English communication skills
16. Outstanding Logic ability and thought ability.
17. Outstanding communication and expression ability.
18. Satisfactory team spirit and cooperation ability.
19. Good report writing and presentation skills, conversant in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
