职位描述
Key Objectives:
- Lifestyle localization is part of Aftersales business strategy in China. To enable the localization and give best capacity support from indirect purchasing, the position is requested.
- Additionally, the position is responsible for other commodities and tasks assigned by line manager according to changing situation on commodity strategy, re-organization and workload & capacity etc.
Major Responsibilities:
- Ensure a transparent and compliant purchasing process in all legal entities and achieve the long term best price quality ratio for goods and services requested;
- Takes the lead during negotiations for the relevant commodities. Works within BMW global purchasing network to obtain best possible purchasing results, including connection to MG lead buyer;
- Supports Aftersales Lifestyle sales profit maximum, not only focus on purchasing price saving;
- Supports Lifestyle localization, including alignment with AG Licensing & Brand management team and FTZ logistic team;
- Execute vendor evaluation, lead new production vendor sourcing and on-site visit & check;
- Steering and supervising target achievements status & responsible for KPI reporting for the assigned commodity;
- Acts interdisciplinary with Finance, Controlling & Legal topics etc.;
- Together with Line Manager streamlines purchasing process to increase synergies by bundling of PRs or set up of FCs to increase efficiencies and savings;
- Identifies procurement opportunities in the national as well as international market development. Preparation of sourcing preview to have a forecast and a current status about actual workload and capacity;
- Maintain a commodity strategy and identify new suppliers and eliminating unsuitable suppliers. Identify possible risks. Evaluate the performance of existing suppliers and assess the potential of new suppliers;
- Identifies risks and threats in the national as well as international purchasing environment. Steers Escalation Management for assigned Vendors;
- Takes and fulfils the additional tasks assigned by his/her line manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or higher degree in purchasing, sales, marketing, engineering, business administration, Provider Management or related areas and supply chain management;
- Knowledge of cost analysis;
- Competence of organizing supplier evaluations;
- Knowledge of sourcing & supplier management;
- Knowledge of legal and tax/duty;
- Knowledge of financial terms for purchasing contracts;
- Ability to operate SAP purchasing systems and MS office tools;
- Proficient English in both writing and speaking;
- Good at teamwork, especially within intercultural team.
