Job descriptions:  

Leadership Tasks

  1. The Sales Manager is responsible for the personnel management of his sales team. Through his behavior, his decisions, and his information policy he ensures the motivation of his team as well as an innovative and result-oriented environment for the employees. The information to his employees is direct, regular, and prompt
  2. He/She regularly conducts feedback talks, sets annual as well as short-term targets, and takes care of their implementation and control
  3. He/She is making sure that the structure in his area is healthy and enough junior sales are in place.
  4. He/She ensures to coach and control his team according to their experience, knowledge, and self-drive.

  

Operational Tasks:  

  1. Support the regional director in the annual planning (units, turnover, expenses, profit, market share and awareness) and splits the agreed annual plan to the sales engineers;
  2. During the year he ensures the achievement of sales targets as defined in the annual planning by relevant measures. He permanently analyses plan fulfillment and immediately drives counter measures where necessary
  3. Responsible for company values and measures in his area
  4. Defines focus programs and concrete tasks for each sales engineer in his sales area
  5. Make sure to promote stock sales within the scope of his annual targets
  6. Support the Regional Director when conducting local advertising measures, exhibitions, or trade shows
  7. Responsible for the development, instruction, and control of local sales measures such as acquisitions and promotion for all Jungheinrich products focusing on new and used truck sales rentals, and leases
  8. Responsible to promote and support all business fields in his area including after sales, logistic systems, and short-term rental
  9. Together with his staff he maintains the close contact to customers and steers the acquisition and care of customers targeting strategic customer groups
  10. Responsible to share information and communicate in details with the regional key account manager to provide optimal service to Jungheinrich key accounts
  11. Ensure the compliance with the price and condition framework given to him by the regional director
  12. Ensure the correct and proper use of IT systems and tools provided by the company (f.ex. proper input of customer datas, use of quotation tools…)
  13. Observes the market and informs his superiors regularly about business, market and competitor activities.

 

Job requirements:

  1. Bachelor degree or above, major in mechanical or relative.
  2. Minimum 5 years industry sales experience,  at least 2+ years team management experience
  3. Good command of English.
  4. Familiar with Microsoft Office products Excel / Word / Powerpoint.
  5. Ability to work under pressure.
  6. Team player with ability to communicate clear and directly
  7. Work self-dependent and strong result-orientation
  8. Ability to communicate effectively with customers.
