Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Job duties
Coordinate with customer and merchandiser team to plan and align shipments based on Production/ Inspection Date and customer’s required ETD and ETA.
Coordinate shipment bookings with factories and forwarders
Tightly Monitor & support all Pre-shipment Activities between factories and forwarder and troubleshoot in case of any issues (space issue, late come, changes in schedule/VMT Submission)
Handling Import/Export activities for AIR/SEA/Railway
Ensure all documentation submitted by the factory and forwarder is submitted timely and correctly (Loading Plan, Draft B/L, etc)
Prepare full set shipping documents for customer (Invoice/Packing List/Certificate of Origin/B/L)
Liaise with accounting department for payment issue / Support opening Letter of Credit
2. Others
Handle General Freight Inquiries
Ad hoc projects as required by the supervisor

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
1. Basic Requirements
Higher Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
5+ years of experience in shipping or logistics industry
2. Knowledge
Strong knowledge and experience in handling shipment from China to Europe and US.
Good knowledge on shipping practice, custom rules and regulations, I/E and license regulations etc.
3. Skills / key competencies
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook)
Good time management in following up the Logistic procedure
Highly organized, efficient, and result-driven, with a detail-oriented and methodical mindset
Able to handle multi-tasks and work under pressure in a fast-moving environment
Customer Focus with Service Mind Set and communication Skills
Fluent in spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
4. Personal Attributes
Highly self-motivated, able to work independent, Pro-active
Able to work under tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment
Good team-player with excellent interpersonal skills
Reliable and trustworthy
5. Others
Experience in overseas buying office/trading company will be a definite advantage
Previous Work Experience with Freight Forwarder / Booking Agent a plus
Experience in Customs Declaration via Tradelink a plus
Immediate available will be an advantage
