Job Overview:

    

Form part of the core research and development team at Enertek to design and develop inverter solutions for their suite of cutting-edge energy storage products.

Job responsibilities:

1. Design and develop medium power AC Coupled / Hybrid inverter solutions
2. Determine System Topology
3. Perform component evaluation and selection
4. Function Integrity: Design solutions that are suitable for all major markets
5. Ensure all our inverter models’ specifications follow regulatory guidelines that pertain to each market i.e. AS4777.2 for Australia & New Zealand or N4105 for Germany
6. Implement smart EMC principles during conception
7. Work closely with the R & D team to help improve current product models
8. Curate robust product testing systems to ensure reliability and efficiency
9. Deliver highly cost-effective solutions
10. Provide comprehensive after sales service support
11. Formulate production design improvement strategies
12. Form a deep understanding of our range of products and the expectations of our customers
13. Keep up to date with market trends and perform competitor analysis
14. Work closely with the R & D team to design and develop new products to cater for the New Energy market  

                                                            

Position Requirements:

1. Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a hardware engineer for a reputable inverter company
2. Deep understanding of AC-coupled and Hybrid inverter circuit design and related control algorithms
3. Familiar with switching mode power circuit design, proficient in analysing inverter faults and abnormalities
4. Proficient in the working principle of switching power supply, familiar with circuit topologies such as flyback, BUCK-BOOST, push-pull, etc.
5. The ability to independently solve technical problems
6. Solid foundation in both Electrical and Electronic principles
7. Rich experience in circuit design

                                

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic or Electrical or Automation Engineering
2. Proficient in both verbal and written English – minimum CET-band 4
3. Proficient in typical EDA software
4. Proficient in Microsoft Applications such as Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
