The Job

We are looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer.


Main Responsibilities

1.Work closely with the engineering and wider production team to develop robust product test applications
2.Develop interfaces with business order processing systems
3.Maintenance and improvement of existing applications
4.Write test specifications and procedures for new or modified software

Qualifications
Software engineering degree or equivalent; qualified by experience

Skills & Experience
1.Programming in Visual Basic .NET
2.Programming for embedded systems (desirable but not essential)
3.Experience of programming multi-threaded applications
4.Understanding of Object Oriented design principles
5.Good understanding of database concepts and SQL
6.Proven track record in developing creative software to improve production processes
7.Good business acumen and an understanding of manufacturing processes
8.Excellent standard of both written and spoken English
