Responsibilities:
Leads and manages team responsible for monitoring the accuracy and completeness of supplier submitted offers and THT confirmations. With emphasis on WIP planning, manufacturing specifications/objectives, purchase order initiation, sales order inquiries, and fulfillment exceptions.
Utilizing the operations model developed and communicated by THT Hong Kong, lead and manage the consistent execution of program elements in support of the sourcing and quality and compliance teams.
Lead and manage the identification and communication of purchase order and sales order fulfillment issues.
Manage, mentor and develop assigned team members.
Proactively support and collaborate with sourcing, quality and Tar Heel Trading leadership to contribute knowledge on production processes, packaging, product and supplier performance.
Proactively identify, communicate and implement as directed, changes and enhancements to business processes and procedures to continuously improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Manage the communication and reporting of transactional level activities such as purchase order creation, production management events, fulfillment and shipping exceptions and, supplier process adherence.
Collaboratively support and partner with THT leadership in matters related to industry litigation, product regulatory and performance issues, supplier production and, service provider concerns.
Actively communicate and champion adherence to ethical and best practice business and team member behaviors and actions.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
College or University Degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 7 years' experience in retail, buying, sourcing or consumer products manufacturing.
Moderate to intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office desktop applications, inclusive of Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of web-based product life cycle management tools, inclusive of work flow, task management, supplier/service provider collaboration and, management reporting.
Proactive and effective written and verbal communicator.
Ability to anticipate potential issues and develop mitigating actions.
Strong ability to re-prioritize and make fact-based decisions.
Strong analytics, problem-solving, multi-tasking and prioritization.
Ability to proactively interact and build relationships with all levels of sourcing and merchandising teams.
Embraces and thrives in a change-oriented, dynamic environment while maintaining focus on executing foundation actions.
