Work Outline & Goal


Ensure that all processes to implement, oversee, and adapt policies and programs to improve the organization's environmental /health and safety performance and ensure compliance with current and future regulations and standards, and protect company employees and reputation



Main Job Responsibilities


Establish and implement organization's policies, procedures, and the environmental, health, and safety (EHS) activities to ensure compliance with external EHS regulations and standards and internal environmental policies and management systems


Recommend changes to working processes and conditions to ensure that all employees have a safe and healthy working environment and that the company complies with all current and future regulations and laws, and the company safety policies and standards.


Conduct many of EHS activities as the experienced level but typically undertake the most difficult environmental projects, assessments, solutions and designs


Monitor and evaluate the organization's overall EHS performance to identify recurring problems; research, evaluate, and recommend changes to technology, equipment, systems, or processes that will improve the organization's EHS performance


Ensure the organization's EHS strategy is implemented effectively within established budgets and the organization complies with all relevant regulations, laws, and standards


Support compliance and corporate EHS audits & to ensure 100% compliance with local & company EHS requirement


Requirements:

8-10 years working experience including 3-5 years related experience in EHS function

Major in Engineering or Environmental Science, Bachelor holder

Experience developing, implementing and enforcing EHS programs and protocols
Experience with accident investigation process
Strong Environmental management experience, such as ISO14001, waste water, air emission & waste management, chemical management...
Knowledge of EHS regulations, codes and standards applicable to Plants/facilities in China
Knowledge of safety/crisis management protocols
Fluent in English
