职位描述

Job Description & Responsibilities:
-Targeted improvements in quality, delivery, responsiveness, cost.
-Comprehensive commodity profiles, including market analysis, benchmarking, and total cost of ownership.
-Identification and associated mitigation plans for pricing inflation and high risk factors that may impact total cost or assurance of supply.
-Engage Product Development in design for supply chain decisions, identify preferred suppliers early in the product lifecycle, and ensure supplier capability and capacity are in place to support new product introductions.
-Responsible for AVL (Approved Vendors List) for commodity, and component qualification process.
-Ensure a competitive sourcing environment leading to continuous improvement in quality, cost, service and technology.
-Interface with cross-functional teams to assess current and future sourcing requirements.
-Responsible for quarterly business reviews of strategic sourcing plan that defines, among other things, product roadmaps, supplier capabilities and annual quarterly strategic business objectives.
-Manage overall supplier relationships including supplier performance, capability development, cost and quality improvements.
-Maintain personal knowledge of market trends including rigorous analysis of market drivers, cost structures and technical improvements.
-Periodic travel to supplier's manufacturing sites if required.
-Support our OEM supplier initiatives including annual cost reductions, VMI/JIT, lead-time reductions, favorable payment terms, etc.

Position Requirements:
-Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Engineering, Business, or related field from an accredited college or university Electrical Engineering background preferred.
-15+ years in supply chain management
-Extensive negotiation experience of large or multi-year supply agreements with global suppliers with a proven track record in cost reduction.
-Excellent English skills both written and verbal, assertive, self-motivated, takes initiative. Ability to drive closure on open issues with minimal supervision.
-Ability to be innovative in issues related to strategic sourcing, vendor relations, quality assurance and the associated measurement systems.
-Strong analytical skills (i.e. cost modeling, quotation analysis, supplier selection).
-Expertise in the use of Microsoft Office
-Strong knowledge of Electrical Commodities, Supplier Management.
-Travel required
