Summary:

The successful candidate must have strong html/xml/java script/system configuration programming background, be able to perform independent research, have broad understanding of system architecture, and can work with talented people all over the world as part of the Ruckus engineering team. He/she can work closely with software, hardware, & test teams to develop products that lead the wireless industry.

Responsibilities:

· Full lifecycle application development, designing coding and debugging applications in C/C++ /Javascript languages

· Requirements analysis, software design, code review, quality assurance, project planning and project management

· Evaluate and identify new technologies and standards, implement localization and globalization of software

· Diagnosing bugs and software problems, handling with the change requests and issue reports from customer

Qualifications:

? Bachelor degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science / Computer Engineering or equivalent

? 5+ years' experience in software development.

? 3+ years' experience in networking products development.

? Hands-on experience in developing web applications with front-end GUI.

? Practical experience in software development of commercial-grade applications.

? Thorough knowledge and experience in Linux system software development, debug and problem solving skills.

? Solid understanding on basic networking protocols, including VLAN, NAT, 802.1x security, and scripting languages.

? Enthusiasm in programming, good understanding in C Language is required.

? Good communication skills with decent English read/write capability.

Preferred skill set:
? Experience developing with web technologies such as JavaScript, AJAX frameworks (Prototype, Rico, etc.).
? Job experience in 802.11 wireless products and GSM systems is a plus
