职位描述
Position Scope/Objectives:
- Reporting to the QC manager, you will lead the QC team.
- The role will take responsibility for developing the QC team, coaching and supervising team members on their work to increase the efficiency of Quality Control activities.
- You will work closely with vendors and POM team on QC. This position will also be responsible to lead the deployment of a more disciplined skip inspection process, leading to increase efficiency and profitability.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for daily management and efficiency mprovement of QC team to provide QC services to the company.
* Hire/train/coach/dismiss and manage the QC team members aligned with Companies policies and in conjunction with HR
* Support QC Manager for daily operation and organize monthly QC meeting
* Collect and check all instruction/information from Business Units(BUs) / Product Development(PD) and give it to QC
* Monitor each QC performance individually(too high/low reject rate needs to be investigated. Too much differenec between our inspection results and our BUs results needs to be investigated)
* Plan, organize and control all Quality Contol activities and develop KPI's to be measured against
* Define operation rules for skip inspections
* Ensure inspection requirements are communicated properly and QC inspectors are trained on proper inspection methods and techniques
* Review inspection results, coordinate with vendors/POM coordinators/Sourcing merchandisers on final disposition for rejected lots or those with questionable results and ensure accuracyof inspection summary reports
* Review and ensure that inspection aids(reference samples, specifications, purchase order info) are avalable and adequate for inspectors to conduct inspection effectively
* Organzie with QE in training of QC inspectors regarding use of inspections checklists and the operation of needed test equipment
* Organzie with QE in providing support to new product starts and onsie pilot evaluations
Qualifications(Minimum):
* College graduated or above
* At least 5 yrs' experiences in similar capacity and 2 yrs' QC team management experiences on field of sundries and E&E items at trading company
* Familiar quality standard of Euro and USA Market
* Experience in working in a trading company environmen
Competencies:
* Good management skills
* Good coordination & communication ability, team work spirits and can analyze and solve problem independently
* Willing to travel
* Cusomer service minded
Communication Level:
* Good English on both of writing and reading and good oral english is preferable
Computer Literacy:
* Pack Office
