Job Request:
PRIMARY FUNCTION
Develop optical solutions, including lenses, reflectors and hybrid systems, for LED light engines and LED luminaires
Investigate new optical solutions and designs for various LED applications
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES , DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop optical solution, like lenses, reflectors and hybrid systems, based on product requirements
Build prototype samples for testing purpose
Test the optical design performance, i.e. function, temperatures, light output
Provide feedback to the product engineers
Investigate and develop new optical solutions to improve the product optical efficiency
Job Request:
Minimum 3 years of experience on optical design for lighting applications
Solid background on LEDs and related technologies, especially the optical properties of various LEDs
Experience with light simulation softwares, like LightTools, and 3D design tools like Solidworks
Familiar with reflector and lens materials
University degree (preferably a Master's degree) in Physics or Electrical Engineering
Good oral and written English skills
