Training & Support Specialist

Configura works with parametric configuration. We develop software to draw spaces in 2D and 3D for leading companies within the commercial furniture, material handling, and kitchen and bath industries. In the background of the software, prices and configurations are automatically calculated so the user can focus on the design. Configura is headquartered in Link？ping (Sweden), with four wholly owned subsidiaries in Grand Rapids (Michigan, USA), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Shenzhen (China), Berlin (Germany) and a small office in Gothenburg (Sweden).

WHAT WE OFFER YOU

Configura is growing and we have an opening for a communicative and service-minded team player who will work as a Training & Support Specialist in our Shenzhen office. Configura is a global organization providing software solutions through CET Designer for interior design and engineering that puts the creativity back into the user’s hands and away from over-memorizing product data. In short, we simplify.

The Training & Support specialist role consist of instructing and supporting users in their work with CET Designer. The time is divided between leading training classes and working on the Support desk.

The Support desk functions include supporting users in their work with CET Designer by answering chats, emails and work with tickets from users who have questions or issues using the program. This is done with a focus on customer service, speed and responsiveness. In the Support role, you will log issues in our ticket tracking system, generate reports as needed and identify potential software issues and problems and communicate them to the development team. You will also trouble-shoot and test new updates and enhancements of the program.

In the Training role, you will have both in-person and virtual classes for our existing and new CET Designer users in commercial furniture, industry and kitchen and bath industries. Some travel is required. Together with the rest of the team, you will also continue on-going development of curriculums, webinars and training materials related to CET Designer and interior design.

WHO WE BELIEVE YOU ARE

At Configura, we value our customer and user relationships, that’s why we’re looking for someone who is just as enthusiastic as we are about maintaining and developing good relationships. You have previous experience from planning and leading classes and love to teach others. We also believe that you have a technical background with a basic understanding of Windows operating systems and networks. A working knowledge of contract furniture or kitchen design industries is preferred.

As a person, you are self-sufficient at the same time as you’re a team player. You have exceptional presentation skills, strong written and verbal communication skills and a positive customer focus with attention to detail.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCE

Responsibilities:

- Willingness to develop a good understanding of the CET Designer software ecosystem

- Provide top-quality, friendly, professional, helpful, and insightful support to end users

- Formulate solutions to problems and provide suggestions on how tools, extensions and shortcuts can be used by end users to simplify and improve their workflow

- Actively monitor and gather feedback, complaints and common problems and share them with the team using recommended channels

- Ensure exceptional customer experience

- Stay up to date with the latest developments in the CET Designer ecosystem by researching, exploring, and participating in relevant webinars/meetings

- Develop an in-depth understanding of the content that is available on the Help Center and to provide end users with reference material when required

- Provide suggestions on content additions to the Help Center

- Assist with Help Center content improvements and translations

- Act as a liaison between users, developers and the Configura team

- Deliver high-quality trainings in virtual and in-person formats

- Develop and maintain various training curriculums

- Comfortable working within e-learning and LMS systems

- Test of new releases and improved software version

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant field

- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English

- Knowledge in support platforms such as Jira, Chat Support, Zendesk Help Center, Forum or similar

- Technical background and aptitude, with basic understanding of Windows operating systems and networks

- Knowledge and understanding of computer hardware

- Space planning and interior design skills with CET Designer or programs like AutoCAD, Pcon, CAP, project Matrix or similar is a plus
