The IT Solutions team within the IT Services is tasked with interacting with the business to ensure that for all technology requirements within KPMG China:

- Align with the firm's strategy

- Are delivered in a consistent, user friendly manner 

- Provide cost effective solutions that demonstrate adequate returns on investments

In creating an environment where employees can access and use the technology they need to do their best work, the team is responsible for

- Explore requirements, in conjunction with business users, for new application developments/implementations

- Delivering these requirements using robust project management methodologies

- Educating users on commercial productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office applications

- Delivering internal technology related communications

- Development of SharePoint portal sites and applications, including document management

Responsibilities

- Architecture and design of SharePoint implementations using best practices

- Implementation and customisation of SharePoint-based solutions

- Implementation of SharePoint-based workflows

- Microsoft.NET development to extend and augment the SharePoint platform

- Development of custom web parts

- Build credible relationships with internal colleagues, including project leadership, practices, functional and technical resources

- Supporting internal departments with change management, quality review meetings and implementation of governance and escalation framework

- Responsible for the on-going evolutionary initiatives of the services including functional changes, technology advancements, regulatory demands / changes and industry or market demands as specified by the Management team

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Technology or a similar discipline

- 5+ years development work experience in SharePoint online/on premise Development and Architecture

- Extensive Experience with the development, customisation, integration and configuration of MS SharePoint

- Development experience with SharePoint Object model and Microsoft.NET technologies (e.g. ASP.NET, XML, CSS, SQL Server, JavaScript, JSON,JS, Angular, HTML 5, WCF CSOM, etc.)

- Experience in SharePoint website/portal development, Enterprise Content Management solutions, Management Solutions, Document Management solutions and custom solutions

- Proficiency on working with SharePoint using CSOM, JavaScript, SharePoint Object Model and SP Web Services

- Good Understanding and writing of SharePoint Web services and .Net Web services

- Branding and designing of SharePoint site in SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio (Master pages, page layouts, web part, page design)

- Understanding of windows, Claims Authentication, Single Sign-On Implementations.

- Good experience in SharePoint development and should have developed at least 2-3 project in SharePoint Custom Development from scratch

- Strong C# Development experience

- Knowledge Office 365 and SharePoint integration

- Demonstrated experience in the deployment, migration, configuration and development of SharePoint 2013, 2016, 2019 and SharePoint online solutions

- Good in Implementing BCS, Managed Metadata, Enterprise Search, Excel Services in SharePoint

- Design, creation and implementation of SharePoint sites and solutions including: configuration

- Working with the Production team on QA

- Creating and maintaining code tests and project documentation

- Ability to meet challenging milestones within time, cost and quality constraints 

- Ability to work efficiently and deliver pragmatic and high-quality outcomes

- Be team players with the ability to deliver projects and work within integrated, multidisciplinary project teams 

- Be driven and resilient to overcome challenges or setbacks to achieve the goals of the projects

- Communicate with impact in an open, honest, consistent and clear manner 

- Good verbal and written English language skills; knowledge of Chinese language is advantageous
