In this Process Engineering, you will:
?Measure, understand and be able to document our products and processes used in Gore's die cut, sealing processes and converting operations
?Develop an understanding of customer's application and product needs
?Bring current technology into operation, work with equipment and tooling engineers to acquire new equipments and develop in new processes.
?Evaluate the new materials used in processes, introduce & apply the advance materials in process improvements.
?Partner with product design engineer to introduce new products to manufacturing
More specifically, you will:
?Partner with engineering team members and manufacturing leaders to drive process improvements to enhance product quality and production efficiency.
?Responsible for process capability study and continuous improvements. Discover process improvements and make them happen
?Create, carry out and review experiments using statistical methods. Adopt SPC methodology to evaluate and control process variations.
?Perform gauge studies to learn the effectiveness of measurement techniques
?Design, troubleshoot and refine manufacturing processes.
?Work with manufacturing team, leading the process improvements with good implementation skills.
?Critique process and product improvement proposals by applying regulatory, quality, ergonomic, safety, environmental and cost factors.
?Plan and carry out product, process and equipment, tooling, tester validations.
?Lead and drive engineering activities for operational excellent with six sigma methodology.
?Match fitness-for-use requirements to process measurements and set points
?Draft and define process related documents, procedures. Document your work with reports, technical notebooks, and quality system and design file entries.
?Initiate the training and training documents for new processes.
Candidate Qualification:
?Major: Material Science (Organic; macromolecule); Mechanical Engineering; Polymer Processing and Engineering; Paper Processing; Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering,
?Degree: Good to have Master, Bachelor is a must,
?Working Experience: 1-3 years
?Other Qualification: High potential, have good attributes in various area ( see Gore ACE model). Learning capability, positive initiative, logic thinking, open minded, self-motivation, English skills are the must. Good EQ and influencing skills are highly preferred.
