Who we are looking for

  

Bushnell Asia office is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Sourcing Engineer.

  

The primary responsibility of this role is to monitor/maintain/improve product quality, supplier compliance and productivity in supplier manufacturing.

  

Reporting to the Sourcing Director, the person in this role will support the organization’s objective to support the overall success of the company.

  

 

  

What you will be doing

  

Sourcing and supply support

  

• Support sourcing team conduct new vendor pre-assessment
• Conduct factory audit (CTPAT, QSM, SR) in need
• Manufacturing Technical Support and Daily Problem-Solving
• Work with sourcing team to drive production ramp up in need
• Communicate / Coordinate / Negotiate Problem Solve situations with cross-functional groups and individuals involved with mass production

  

NPI

  

• Work with ME and PD closely, conduct Pilot Production evaluation
• Work with ME and PD, establish in-house lab and conduct product test to support Product Team’s requirement as well as verify product performance during R&D/PP/MP stage

  

QC support

  

• Establish inspection/test protocol according to engineering requirement and IQC standard
• Establish quality audit protocol, ensure QC inspection conform SOP and requirement
• Analysis root cause of quality failure, implement SCAR with respective vendors
• Support inspection work in need

  

 

  

What you need bring

  

• 4 years Engineering/Technical Degree OR equivalent Quality Engineering experience in sizable manufacturer (prefer electronics/optics/machining related industry.)—must
• Extensive knowledge or working experience on WIFI/Blue Tooth/APP--must
• Capability of reading and interpreting Blueprints/ Drawings/ Manuals/ Technical Specs (Parts, Equipment)--must
• Capability of reading and understanding common measurement tools (calipers, feeler gauges, taper gauges, oscilloscope, etc.)--preferred
• Experience of new factory evaluation (production capacity, social compliance, quality system, CTPAT)--must

  

• Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)--must

  

 

  

Added bonus if you have:

  

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering OR other technical Engineering field
• Experience of implement LEAN
• Fluent English in writing and speaking
