Summary:
Ruckus Wireless is seeking a senior QA Engineer to join in growing our rapidly expanding QA team. Based out of our Shenzhen, China office, the ideal candidate will be responsible for project planning, test bed setup, status report , support to PoC trial and request from customer site, and test execution of various Ruckus Wireless products (E.g. 11a/b/g/n APs, indoor/outdoor APs, single/dual band APs, Enterprise/Carrier AC...)
Responsibilities:
· Support QA manager to develop test schedule, resource and lab planning;
· Act as project prime to identify technology and schedule issue, and develop mitigation accordingly; trace and report project status
· Participate in all QA activities including test plan development, test bed design/maintenance, execution of test cases and regression
· Interact with internal teams and customers to resolve problems and improve product quality;
Qualifications:
·At least five years of system test experiences in telecom or datacom industry
·Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent engineering fields
·Expert knowledge and hands-on experiences in network technologies (TCP/IP, L2/L3 switching, routing, VLAN, DHCP, IPv6...)
·Substantial test experiences in wireless products (AP and AC) and technologies (802.11a/b/g/n, WLAN, mesh, security, QOS, voice)
·Expert knowledge of popular test equipment for traffic generation, capture, and analysis (Chariot, Veriwave)
·Substantial ability to debug complex software systems and wireless network
·Familiar with carrier/enterprise wireless network deployment scenarios will be a plus
·Familiar with software development life cycle, bug tracking, test case development
·Good at reading and written English, fluent oral English is a plus
