Basic Qualification:
? 3-7 years manufacture Sourcing Experience of metal shelving /storage products
? Leadership and Supervisory experience required
? Fluent English communication in written and spoken.
Preferred Qualification:
? 3-7 years metal shelving /storage experience with trading company, manufactory or retailers’ overseas buying office. Directly or in-directly sourcing experience for US major retailers: Walmart, Sam’s Club, Costco, Target, BBB, Lowes, Kohl’s, Home Depot and etc.
? 2-4 years product development experiences of metal shelving /storage products.
? Extensive understanding of the raw material, commodity and upper stream products cost structure.
? 4 years degrees
Position Description:
Response for the near and long term direct import sourcing strategies for metal shelving /storage products supply to major US Retailers.
To develop internal and external partnerships to maximize the achievement of business goals.
Manages the prioritization of strategic sourcing projects that support cost saving initiatives at the FOB level.
Leads development of the metal shelving /storage products’ Asia/global Supplier Matrix: manage and own the strategic metal shelving /storage products sourcing plans to gain the factory’s partnerships and ensure the products’ quality, on time delivery and the competitive cost.
Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer s’ and US sales leaders’ needs; developing and communicating the sourcing plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.
Ensures the company’s business goals are being met by evaluating the ongoing efficiency of current plans, programs, and initiatives; follow up the Sourcing Director’s leads, consulting with the business partners, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving the metal shelving /storage products sourcing and the cost effectiveness.
