Basic Qualification:

? 3-7 years manufacture Sourcing Experience of wood furniture

? Leadership and Supervisory experience required

? Fluent English communication in written and spoken.

Preferred Qualification:

? 3-7 years wood furniture experience with trading company, manufactory or retailers overseas buying office. Directly or in-directly sourcing experience for US major retailers: Walmart, Sam’s Club, Costco, Target, BBB, Lowes, Kohl’s, Home Depot and etc.

? 3-5 years Wood furniture product development experience and the knowledge of standard processes in wood product.

? Extensive understanding of the raw material and upper stream products cost structure.

? 4 years degrees

Position Description:

Response for the near and long term direct import sourcing strategies for Wood furniture including but not limit to wood stools, accent furniture, wood kitchen cart and etc. supply to major US Retailers.

To develop internal and external partnerships to maximize the achievement of business goals.

Manages the prioritization of strategic sourcing projects that support cost saving initiatives at the FOB level.

Leads the development of the wood category Asia/global Supplier Matrix: manage and own the strategic wood furniture sourcing plans to gain the factory’s partnerships and ensure the products’ quality, on time delivery and the competitive cost.

Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customers’ and US sales leaders’ needs; developing and communicating the sourcing plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.

Ensures the company’s business goals are being met by evaluating the ongoing efficiency of current plans, programs, and initiatives; follow up the Sourcing Director’s leads, consulting with the business partners, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving the wood furniture sourcing and the cost effectiveness.
