The Automotive Vehicles Platform team is searching for excellent full-stack web services engineers to develop backend/frontend services and bring NVIDIA's autonomous vehicle platform out to the world. You will participate in a focused effort to develop and productize ground-breaking solutions that will redefine the world of transportation and the growing field of self-driving cars. You will work with hardworking and dedicated multi-functional engineering development teams across various subsystems to integrate their work into our autonomous driving platform, while achieving or exceeding all meaningful NVIDIA and automotive standards & guidelines. You'll find the work is exciting, fun, and very meaningful.

What You'll Be Doing

• Play the key role in the full development and release life-cycle, from web API, software architecture and database interaction design to implementation, testing, and deployment.

• Evaluate technology alternatives, work closely with other project members and users to specify the system, build schedules, and manage ongoing feedback and improvement releases.

• Learn and build valuable features for end users and greatly improve NVIDIA autonomous driving product’s user experience.

• Crafting and Developing front end website architecture, user interactions and APIs, meeting both technical and consumer needs.

What We Need To See

• BS, MS in CS/CE/EE or equivalent experience

• 3+ years in a related field.

• Proficient in one of Java/JavaScript/Python programming languages.

• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular JS.

• Excellent software design, problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Background with current popular web frameworks (Spring MVC, AngularJS, etc.), RESTful API design, deep understanding of OOP, MVC and other design patterns.

• Experience with databases, MySQL and Cassandra are preferred.

• Experience with container-based virtualization (e.g. Docker) and container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes)

• Ability and flexibility to work and communicate optimally in a multi-national, multi-time-zone corporate environment.

• A strong desire to learn and build innovative solutions.

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd

• Deep understanding of Linux, and Linux application/services development

• Background with distributed computing, high scalability and availability design, multi-thread, load balance, such as high-performance server architecture.

• Familiar with auto test methodologies for high concurrency cloud services.

• In-depth knowledge of Automotive/IoT is a plus
