Purpose of Job: Responsible for Products & Process Development in order to better support business development.

Essential Function 1: Plan/carry out & evaluate laboratory trials

• Carry out product & process development of newly developed or upgraded products, Initiating laboratory trials

• Taking account of environmental, safety, occupational safety and industrial hygiene regulations

• Cooperating in selecting suitable test methods

  Essential Function 2: Development and up-scaling of process methods to manufacture assigned products

• Initiating, evaluating the trials and conducting a meaningful analysis for the substances

• Devising trials for optimizing quality & yield, ensuring or documenting the trial results

• Secure stable and safe production processes. Assisting in performing them in production

  Essential Function 3: Management of the assigned products in the production plant

• Identify & optimize quality process parameters to achieve the necessary quality & cost-effectiveness targets

• Cooperate with production team to create needed SOP for production, establish stable process

• Ensure the further PD & archiving of the available product & process know-how for the responsible products

  Essential Function 4: Cooperate with M&S to support marketing

• Interpreting the results of laboratory trials for optimizing the desired application properties

• Assist in dealing with complaints & quality issues by employing product know-how & conducting suitable tests

• New product lab samples preparing for marketing development

  Essential Function 5: Technical qualification of relevant raw materials sources

• Establish evaluation methods of required raw materials by combining lab tests & production experience

• Select qualified suppliers in technical view

• Collect, evaluate & achieve raw materials suppliers inf. to set up backup supplier for key materials

  Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above, major in chemical related background

• 2 years or above experience in chemical laboratory, development position preferred

• Fluent in English; Skills in both external and internal communications

• Full of research & study enthusiasm, Sufficient relevant technical knowledge
