ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Senior Software Development Manager to define, propose and validate software platform solutions, enabling the platform to fulfill the customer expectations;

Define project schedules, manage activities, determine team priorities and drives the resolution of issues and defects; ensure assigned projects are completed on time;

Lead and contribute to the definition of the Statement of Work of projects;

Participate in overall project design, manage product life cycle processes and procedures to ensure project meets financial, business and schedule goals and on time

Responsible for providing senior leaderships in working with internal and external multidisciplinary teams to ensure key program deliverables are completed;

Work with development teams on interpreting requirements and make sure the requirements are implemented to meet the expectations, complete functional reviews of the platform / application, and review the final deliverables;

Define and validate the integration, deployment, transition, migration, and co-existence of our platform in the customer environment and processes;

Validate the solution requirements with the deployment / software / knowledge architects, as applicable;

Ensure all product deliverables are fulfilled the software development lifecycle processes (architecture, design documents, test cases, etc.);

Perform technical / functional review and analysis, prepare internal and external documentation, and work closely with client to drive project results;

Define technical objectives, process requirements, constraints and scope of the solution to be developed;

Drive delivery teams and ensure designs and developments of projects in consistency and best quality;

Building and maintaining multiple master program schedules, tracking resource needs, mitigating risks, and reporting project financials;

Ensure project momentum continually moves forward at an optimal pace and coach cross-functional teams to follow informed project decision making processes that result in effective risk mitigation and impact scope change assessments;

Good communications to provide cross-functional program team collaboration and ensure program delivery is consistently aligned with the expectations of the customer and other key project stakeholders.

Proactively identify resource gaps or risks, manage highly matrix internal resources with competing priorities, and drive critical delivery from outsourced project team partners, both local and international.

Complete any additional assignments and assume any additional responsibilities as directed by senior managements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or related subject, Master’s degree or overseas education background is preferred;

8 years working experience, at least 4-5 years of project / team management;

Solid knowledge about Software Development Lifecycle and Software Engineering Process, project management standards and practices;

Hands-on experience in delivering product/project in Agile Environment (Scrum is preferable);

Able to perform project manager's activities during Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Closing project phases as well as practice several Software Development Methodologies;

Able to organize and manage a project team, identify, analyze and properly respond to project risks;

Excellent presentation skills;

Ability to lead and engage people in a conversation;

Ability to work under pressure;

Communicate to stakeholders, execute and manage changes in the stakeholder management plan;

Oral and written proficiency with the English language; Interview will use English.
