ABOUT THE COMPANY

    

Our business is a fast-growing company with headquarters in Europe. We are a leading designer and manufacturer of precision engineered components and products for the fence, gate, access & perimeter control industry. We are a non-integrated manufacturing company which means that we design & engineer products but have the respective components manufactured by a range of subcontractors. We actively coach these subcontractors about their quality control & manufacturing setup. Afterwards, these products are being assembled in-house, packaged and shipped to our European customers.

    

    

THE ROLE

    

The candidate will work on R&D product’s mechanical design, do team work together with China and Belgium project team. Full contribution on mechanical design / estimation based on China local suppliers’ capability level and the material / process transfer estimation between Europe and China.

    

    

RESPONSIBILITIES

    

1. Complete mechanical design drawing / specification / test requirement / BOM per the project requirement

    

2. Do mechanical design review & improvement with China & Belgium team (Simulation / tolerance stack up / material transfer solution from Belgium to China / design requirement VS China suppliers’ capability … )

    

3. Do sustain product trouble shooting and provide solution from mechanical viewpoint

    

4. Do product / component cost analysis & improvement according to required manufacturing process

    

5. Do similar components’ design combination estimation and design change

    

6. Following ECR/ECN procedure to review & proceed

    

7. Tracking trial run and update accordingly to the Project Manager

    

    

REQUIREMENTS

    

1. Bachelor’s (or above) degree in Mechanical Engineering

    

2. 5+ years’ experience in mechanical hardware manufacturing development

    

3. 1+ years’ experience in DFM review / approve position

    

4. Excellent knowledge of China current suppliers’ capability of mechanic, especially for the tolerance achievable level based on suppliers’ equipment and process situation

    

5. Excellent skill on software of SOLIDWORKS / PDM / ERP

    

6. Excellent knowledge of CNC / die casting / stamping / cold heading / treatment … for metal manufacturing process

    

7. Good knowledge of material property

    

8. Good knowledge of international mechanical design standard

    

9. Native Mandarin and excellent written and excellent verbal English communication skills

    

10. Outstanding Logic ability and thought ability.

    

11. Outstanding communication and expression ability.

    

12. Satisfactory team spirit and cooperation ability.

    

13. Good report writing and presentation skills, conversant in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

    

    

LOCATION PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    

 Position is in ShaJing Town, Shenzhen – 800Meters far from metro Line 11 HouTing station
