KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

%26bull; Set the strategic direction for the Mechanics Commodity Group%26hellip; long term definition of sourcing strategy, vendor selection, cost roadmap, etc.

%26bull; Oversee the management of strategic supplier relationships, including management, reporting and metrics

%26bull; Definition of pricing roadmaps, benchmarking objectives. Approval of individual commercial agreements for the commodity group

%26bull; Take Commercial and Technical accountability for the commodity group

%26bull; Management of the %26lsquo;AVL%26rsquo; Approved Vendor List

%26bull; Provide Supply Chain Representation to the assigned %26lsquo;NPI%26rsquo; Projects

%26bull; Manage outside subcontractors, in support of NPI activities

%26bull; Work with Engineers to ensure purchase specifications are optimized

%26bull; Resolve escalated conflicts effecting the assigned commodity group


REQUIREMENTS:

%26bull; Ten years%26rsquo; experience in Supply Chain, with a minimum of five (3) years%26rsquo; direct experience relating to the electronics commodity group*

%26bull; Five years in a management or cross-functional team leadership role

%26bull; Five years of experience in the area of material management with an understanding of manufacturing and supply chain concept

%26bull; Five years of experience in commercial negotiation.
