Job Description:
? Oversee production operations for the engine factory and ensure resources are available to meet the factory and division goals and objectives.
? Ensure a safe working environment.
? Develop the strategic plan and tactical goals to support factory and Divisional goals and objectives.
? Drives continuous improvement and cost reduction activities in all areas of the factory.
? Ensure the factory is adequately engaged and aligned with the Enterprise processes - PDP, OFP and CSP.
? Manages the factory capital and expense budget.
? Support the training and development of factory personnel.
? Manage a staff of functional managers, including Operations, Quality, Materials, Finance and Engineering to meet the factory goals and objectives.
? The Successful Applicant
? Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related specialty.
? An expert understanding of below Knowledge is necessary:
? Industry appropriate for area of responsibility (markets, products, competitors, customers, distribution trends).
? Financial principles required for budgeting and strategic planning.
? Industrial or automotive manufacturing.
? Lean Manufacturing, Just-in-Time, Kanban, and Demand Flow Technology.
? Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP), Order Fulfillment Process (OFP) and Customer Support Process (CSP).
? Employee policies, practices, procedures and work rules appropriate for the unit.
? Change management principles and techniques.
? Project management.
? Ability to apply the information to complex situations, solve complex problems, and provide expert support for other practitioners.
? Industrial Equipment or Automotive, Engine experience is preferred.
? Organized, Strong on Follow-up and High Attention to Detail, Team Oriented, High work standard, excellent communication.
? Results oriented with passion for business and manufacturing. Committed to developing a high performing, team oriented organization. Strong leadership skills and high integrity.
? Good English and Chinese communication skills, both written and oral.
? EMS industry is preferred.
